I am still getting on with my decluttering, today was 5 egg cartons, I nearly put them in the bin then thought of someone who could use them.
Yesterday I put a few things in the bin as it was bin day, it was all just rubbish, why on earth do we keep things? Why would I keep an empty coffee mug box?
I think I will start culling my craft magazines - I've been going to do it for ages, the pile is really overwhelming. I keep thinking I will go through and tear out what I want and get rid of the rest, I guess I just need to make a start. At least I haven't bought any new ones for a long time. I also need to get a box or bag to put things in that I can then take to the op.shop. I really don't think I will keep this up for the whole 366 days, but any amount is good.
Oh, you got some work ahead of you. I have a few closets that need decluttering. I always say I should go through the things in there, but somehow I never get started. And you are so right, we keep way to many things that we do not need anymore.

Thank's Sandra!
ReplyDeleteI need to de-clutter a lot. Lol.
Sandra, don't think about the whole pile. Just think about 1 magazine today. One! Tomorrow you can think about one more. That's it. And by the end of the month, your pile will no longer seem overwhelming. :-)
ReplyDeleteSandra it is hard for nearly everyone to throw stuff out, I did four trips to the tip today, and every one of them I thought "What if I need this sometime?" But no one had looked at any of it for years. So now it is gone, and there is space where it was.... so go girl go.
DeleteHey Sandra, well done on the de cluttering......it feels so liberating to get rid of 'stuff'.
ReplyDeleteI have started doing a bit of a clean out and have made two trips to the oppie and am in the process of going through my magazines.....English Country Living going back to the 1990's.
I am quite happy to finally get rid of them and hopefully someone else will enjoy them.
